A Spotlight on College Students' Mental Health

Mental health advocates designate September 10-16 as National Suicide Prevention Week. The issue offers heightened significance for college students: Suicide is the second-leading cause of death among those aged 18 to 24, and most lifetime mental health conditions will first manifest themselves at the college-attending age. For this piece, I researched and aggregated the many studies conducted on college students' mental health to offer a fuller picture of the difficulties the population faces.
